Are You New Computers?
If you have limited experience with computers, you may want to consider taking one of our introductory windows courses. These courses will help you master basic skills that you may need for other classes.
Prerequisites for Introductory Software Courses
Windows offers a variety of software applications, including Word, Access, Excel, and PowerPoint. The introductory levels of these courses require that you have some basic experience with the Windows operating system. Specifically, you should have proficiency in mouse skills (clicking, double-clicking, dragging, and using pull-down menus), and you should know how to open and save files, cut and paste, and resize/move windows. If you want to take an application class and you don't have this experience, you should first take one of our Windows courses.
