Our Microsoft Teams class is now available online with an instructor present for the entire course. You will be able to log in to our Office 365/Teams accounts to use during class in order to learn the software. You will see the instructor's screen throughout the class and you can share your screen if you need individual help from the instructor. Introduction to Teams
(Prerequisite: Experience with Windows.) Understand how to use Microsoft Teams to manage and organize your work and collaborate with others. Learn the basics of navigation in Teams and how to customize settings and notifications. Discover how to add and remove members and owners, and how teams relate to Groups. Learn to create Channels and how to modify your Channel settings to improve team communication. Understand how to add Tabs for other properties and URLs to customize your navigation by Channel. Learn to use Connectors to bring third party software inside your channel. Topics include team communications, naming conventions, creating links, working with posts, call outs, and understanding chats. Additional topics include tips and tricks, bots, managing files, editing and collaborating, and how teams work with SharePoint and other Office365 apps.
