SharePoint Document Management
(Prerequisites: Intermediate Applications of SharePoint or equivalent experience.) Learn best practices and understand the methodology for managing documents on a SharePoint site. Understand the distinction between different SharePoint library apps. Learn to implement document management techniques on document library apps using content types and metadata. Discover how to apply information management policies. Topics include an overview of document management, types of SharePoint library apps, content types, and metadata. Additional topics include information management policies, the content organizer feature, metadata navigation, document sets, and the Document ID feature.
