Transitioning to Office 2016
(Prerequisite: Experience using any version of Office. Specific prerequisite skills include opening and saving files, using the mouse to navigate through documents, and locating commands.) Learn what you need to know to make a smooth transition to Office 2016. This course gives you an overview of the interface differences between Office 2016 and previous Office suites and helps you navigate effectively through the new features of Office 2016 applications. Learn how to use the enhanced file management options that now incorporate the Backstage View to be more productive. Find out about the current file formats and how to work with files that use older file formats. Discover how the Metro interface has been incorporated and how that affects the user interface. Gain an understanding of the new features of Office 2016 including cloud integration and social networking and how they can assist you in your work. Understand how Live Preview can save time and effort, how to increase your Office efficiency by customizing the Quick Access Toolbar, and how you can change the Ribbon views so the commands you frequently use are within easy reach.
